Monday 26th: We travel to Bournemouth for check-in where mulled wine and mince pies
will be waiting on arrival. Dinner is followed by entertainment
Tuesday 27th: Today we visit Salisbury, described as the city in the countryside, Salisbury retains much of its historic past. With timbered buildings, an early English gothic Cathedral home to the famous Magna Carta, there’s a lot to be explored. After plenty of free time here to explore, we travel back to our hotel for our traditional Christmas dinner with entertainment.
Wednesday 28th: Today we have a free day to explore Bournemouth at leisure. At our hotel this afternoon we enjoy an included Dorset cream tea. Dinner this evening is followed by entertainment.
Thursday 29th: After breakfast we travel into Hardy country with a stop in delightful Dorchester, county town of Dorset and home to Thomas Hardy. This was Hardy’s Casterbridge and those with an interest can see many sights on the Hardy walk. Others will find plenty to do in the small but lively centre. We continue to the classic seaside resort of Weymouth with its vibrant harbour before we return to our hotel for a pre-dinner drink, dinner and entertainment.
Friday 30th: The festivities have come to an end and after a filling breakfast, it’s time to bid farewell and head homewards.
