Monday 23rd: Our Christmas holiday begins this morning as we leave home, relax onboard as we make our way to North Devon and the lovely seaside town of Ilfracombe. A welcome tea/coffee and mince pie will be waiting for us. After this evening’s meal, there will be in-house entertainment for our enjoyment.
Tuesday 24th: After breakfast, we journey to the charming town of Tiverton featuring an historic castle built in 1106. Enjoy free time to explore at leisure and browse the festively decorated stores on the high street. We return to the hotel with time to relax before dinner and an evening of live entertainment.
Wednesday 25th: Merry Christmas! Enjoy a leisurely breakfast where Santa has left us all a gift to open. Have a relaxing morning in the hotel, before our Traditional Christmas Lunch. Later we sit down to watch the King’s Speech in the lounge. Tonight’s dinner is a light buffet followed by live entertainment.
Thursday 26th: This morning we journey south to the river port town of Barnstaple. Enjoy free time to have a look around the festively decorated high street. Later, we journey back to the hotel for a light lunch of soup and sandwiches. This afternoon is free to explore the Victorian seaside resort of Ilfracombe at leisure. Known as the jewel in the North Devon Coast, discover a quaint quayside, whitewashed villas, and traditional Cornish town centre. After dinner tonight there’s a festive quiz and bingo.
Friday 27th: After breakfast, we bid farewell to our hosts and commence our journey. After stopping for a lunchtime break in the regency town of Cheltenham, we continue, arriving home later in the day.

Dilkhusa Grand Hotel, Ilfracombe
The Dilkhusa Grand Hotel is situated in the centre of the delightful seaside town of Ilfracombe. It has recently been refurbished to a modern standard. All bedrooms are ensuite with television, telephone, hairdryer, and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift.
