Christmas in Blackpool
We enjoy plenty of festive entertainment, food and drink at the ever-popular Imperial Hotel. Our days out take us to the seaside town of Morecambe on Christmas Eve, on Boxing Day we board a relaxing steam train ride through the Lancashire countryside.
Your Itinerary
Monday 23rd: Our festive holiday begins this morning as we board the coach and leave home. A stop will be made in Southport for any last-minute shopping you may need to do and lunch. Later we continue to the Imperial Hotel where we will be greeted with a welcome drink and festive treat. After dinner this evening, we enjoy entertainment. Tuesday 24th: This morning, we take a drive to the seaside town of Morecambe. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the award-winning promenade before returning to the hotel for Afternoon Tea. We enjoy a sparkling drinks reception with carol singing before dinner, followed by another night of entertainment. Wednesday 25th: Merry Christmas! After a leisurely breakfast, relax in the hotel or enjoy a walk along the promenade to build up your appetite for a traditional Christmas lunch accompanied by musical entertainment. After lunch there’s a carol sing-along followed by bingo to keep us entertained during the afternoon. This evening will be a hot/cold buffet followed by more entertainment. Thursday 26th: After breakfast, we make our way to Heywood where we board the steam train for a ride through 12 miles of stunning scenery, beautiful countryside, and vibrant market towns to Rawtenstall where we rejoin the coach. We return to the hotel where this afternoon, we can enjoy a music quiz, followed by tea and cakes. After a pre-dinner drink we are treated to a Gala Dinner with musical entertainment throughout, followed by a disco to end our festive trip on a high note. Friday 27th: Leaving after breakfast, we make our way to Liverpool to maybe pick up a bargain or two, enjoy lunch before we continue to arrive home later this afternoon.

Imperial Hotel, Blackpool The Imperial Hotel Blackpool is in the quieter North Shore area. The North Pier is within walking distance and there are trams to all the attractions. The Imperial Hotel first opened in 1867 and combines original character with modern comforts. The No. 10 bar is a lovely nod to the plethora of Prime Ministers and politicians who have made history there!
