Monday 10th: We leave home this morning and travel towards the Northeast town of Alnwick. We arrive at the hotel later this afternoon.
Tuesday 11th: After a leisurely breakfast we journey along the beautiful Northumberland coast making our first stop in the pretty harbour town of Seahouses. After enjoying some free time here, we continue along the coast to Bamburgh. Perhaps visit the Grace Darling Museum or take a stroll along the beach front. Entertainment tonight will be either a Quiz or Bingo
Wednesday 12th: Today is free to explore the traditional, cobbled town of Alnwick. Visit the spell-binding castle and grounds, or the spectacular Alnwick Garden. Take a stroll around Hulne Park and enjoy lunch in one of the many eateries. Before dinner tonight we enjoy a gin tasting.
Thursday 13th: Today’s excursion takes us across the causeway to Holy Island and the mysterious Lindisfarne Castle – visible in the distance from Bamburgh. Later, we return making a stop in Belford for free time. PLEASE NOTE: The crossing of the causeway to Holy Island is governed by tide times. It may be necessary to amend this excursion.
Entertainment after dinner tonight will be either a Quiz or Bingo
Friday 14th: Departing our hotel after breakfast we begin our journey, after taking a lunch break we continue to arrive home later in the day.

White Swan Hotel, Alnwick
Set in the heart of the historic market town of Alnwick, the White Swan is a charming, 300-year-old coaching inn. The hotel is probably best known for its Olympic Dining Suite which features the magnificent panelling, mirrors and stained-glass windows from the Titanic’s sister ship. The hotel does not have a lift.
