Your Itinerary

Sunday 27th: We head to Bath via the Cotswolds. We pass through many beautiful villages before making a stop in the elegant English town of Stow-on-the-Wold which offers a fine selection of shops, gift and craft shops, restaurants and tea rooms. Continuing to Bath for our two night stay.

Monday 28th: Today we have a full day to explore the historic city of Bath, a designated World Heritage Site. This beautiful Georgian city is famed for its thermal water springs, stunning architecture, beautiful abbey and flower filled streets, parks and gardens. As you take in the city’s famed sights see the exquisite Pulteney Bridge, the spectacular Bath Abbey, the Roman Baths, the Thermae Bath Spa, the historic Theatre Royal, the Queen Square of Georgian houses, the unique Circus street of large townhouses and the sweeping Royal Crescent row of houses.

Tuesday 29th: We return home after breakfast via Weston-Super-Mare with its level
promenade and easy access to the town’s amenities.

Francis Hotel, Bath ****

Located on the prestigious Queen Square in the heart of Bath, the Grade 1 listed Francis Hotel opened in 1884 and remains one of the most famous hotels in the city. To an excellent standard throughout. The restaurant is bright and traditional in design, the bar is stylish and cosy and there is also a luxurious lounge and an outside terrace.
