Your Itinerary

Sunday 20th: Depart from your home area travelling to Truro, arriving late afternoon at the Alverton Hotel. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served on arrival.

Monday 21st: Today at leisure to explore the delights of Truro or relax in the beautiful surroundings at the hotel. The bustling city of Truro has lots to offer with its flowing rivers picturesque streets 18th and 19th century town houses and magnificent cathedral that dominates the city. Today is an opportunity to take a beautiful river trip on the River Fal from Truro.

Tuesday 22nd: Full day tour via Marazion for some fine views of St Michaels Mount before arriving in Penzance with its long sweeping promenade. On then to the pretty picturesque fishing harbour of St Ives one of the most quaint and attractive towns in Cornwall with its golden sand beach, narrow cobbled streets and colourful granite cottages that earn it the reputation of being an artists paradise.

Wednesday 23rd: Today we travel to Falmouth. Strolling the bustling cobbled streets visit Falmouth’s charming mix of shops, from specialist outlets to well know high street names and art galleries. Try not to miss the chance to visit the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth. On then to Trebah Gardens a sub-tropical paradise with a stunning coastal backdrop. Trebah offers visitors a year round experience. There is a colourful array of 100- year-old rhododendrons, magnolias and camellias a giant gunnera, whilst Hydrangea Valley casts clouds of china blue and soft white across Mallard Pond.

Thursday 24th: Sadly, after breakfast we leave the Alverton Hotel and head for home.
