Friday 2nd: Depart from your home area travelling to Hampshire, arriving late afternoon at the Norton Park Hotel. Tea and hot cross bun will be served on arrival.
Saturday 3rd: Today we travel to Salisbury, surrounded by history. An absolute must is the cathedral with its ornate 13th century spire and most impressively, a copy of Magna Carta. Completed in 1258, Salisbury Cathedral remains one of the most visited religious sites in England, built in a typically English style. Salisbury is home to three main shopping centres with big brand names through to independent retailers.
Sunday 4th: This morning we step back in time and discover the charm and natural beauty of the unique New Forest which became a national park in 2005 and was once a royal hunting ground for William the Conqueror. It covers an area of 566 square kilometres and is made up of vast tracts of unspoilt woodland, heathland and river valleys. Today deer, ponies and cattle continue to roam free in its ancient heaths and woodland. We return to our hotel for a 2 course Easter Sunday lunch and this evening a light buffet dinner
will be served.
Monday 5th: After breakfast we leave and head for home.
