Your Itinerary

Monday 28th: We depart our local area this morning and arrive at our hotel to enjoy a welcome tea or coffee whilst your bags are taken to your rooms.

Tuesday 29th: This morning we travel to New Quay and embark on a one hour New Quay boat cruise with commentary beginning at New Quay’s pier sailing south to Cwmtudu where you may be able to see local fauna including bird colonies, the local ruins of an iron age settlement, plus the chance to see some of the many bottle nosed dolphins native to the waters. We spend time in New Quay with its picturesque houses, pubs and restaurants that cling to the sides of the hills rising above the blue waters of Cardigan Bay before returning to our hotel via Cardigan which retains elements of fascinating history.

Wednesday 30th: To Carmarthen where it is market day. We also visit the delightful harbour town of Tenby.

Thursday 1st: Today we visit Picton Castle Experience which has been awarded the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence for three years running and situated within the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Picton’s enchanting 13th century Castle is surrounded by a spectacular 40 acre RHS Partner Garden full of surprises for everyone. There is no other building quite like it in Britain. Included today is a 50 minute guided tour of the castle, free flow of the gardens and galleries and a light lunch of homemade soup
and sandwiches.

Friday 2nd: We return home this morning via Aberystwyth, a University town and the largest town in Mid Wales. It is home to the prestigious National Library of Wales which has the largest collection of books, maps, archives, bibliographies, pictures, photographs and rare manuscripts in Wales.
