Your Itinerary

Friday 16th: We travel via the motorways into Devon and Cornwall, arriving in Looe late afternoon for check-in at the Portbyhan Hotel.
Saturday 17th: A free day at leisure in Looe to enjoy the wonderful seaside resort and the Hotels Festive day, including Christmas dinner with a mulled wine drinks reception.
Sunday 18th: Today we firstly pay a visit to the traditional Cornish fishing village of Mevagissey, this small town is in a delightful position on an attractive stretch of coastline and has a colourful history of boat building and smuggling. After Mevagissey we travel to the lovely town of Fowey with its narrow streets filled with individual shops and galleries. Take some time to enjoy the outstanding views of the harbour. (Please note that a minibus runs from the top coach park to town due to steep hills in Fowey, fare not included).
Monday 19th: Plymouth is our destination today, known for its maritime heritage and historic Barbican district with narrow, cobbled streets. Sutton Harbour is home to the National Marine Aquarium, where sharks and rays glide in a deep tank. Also in the harbour are several marinas and the fish market, Plymouth Fisheries. The Mayflower Steps are where the Pilgrim Fathers set sail for the New World in 1620. Visit the town centre for lunch before we head back to our hotel in Looe.
Tuesday 20th: Departing our hotel after breakfast we commence our journey stopping in the historic riverside town of Tewkesbury with time for lunch, before continuing home.
