Friday 4th: We head east with a lunch stop at Market Harborough, a distinctive market
town offering heritage sites that bring the past back to life and lovely independent shops to
browse. We have time for lunch before continuing to our hotel arriving late afternoon at the
Mercure Hotel Norwich for 3 nights stay – dinner, bed & breakfast.
Saturday 5th: Today we head to Norwich for a morning guided tour of Norwich, by coach
and on foot. This afternoon, the highlight of the tour is a visit to Sandringham house,
gardens and museum. Built for Edward VII, Sandringham has passed through generations
of royals but the decor remains true to its Edwardian heritage. The fascinating museum is
home to a number of vintage royal vehicles and commemorative china..
Sunday 6th: Today we explore the beautiful Broads with a journey on the Bure Valley
Steam Railway before transferring to Wroxham Bridge for a leisurely Broads cruise. We
enjoy an afternoon beside the seaside with a trip to the coastal resort of Great Yarmouth
and its 'Golden Mile' of attractions or the quieter resort of Cromer.
Monday 7th: After breakfast we leave and begin our journey home with suitable stops enroute.
