A two day break in which we spend time in Harrogate. Famous for its cream teas and Turkish baths, Harrogate is England's classic spa town with quaint streets, historic houses, landscaped gardens and so many fun things to do. Return home via York, browse around the medieval shopping streets of Stonegate and the Shambles. Revel in York’s Roman heritage at the Yorkshire Museum. Walk the city walls and discover York’s royal history of kings, princes and England’s Christian history.
Eastbourne is one of Britain’s more elegant resorts with its wide spacious promenade, many gardens and squares and the rolling grasslands ascending to the high perpendicular cliffs of Beachy Head. A Pier and a fine shopping centre are other features of the resort. Eastbourne also offers a variety of entertainment. The distinctive three-tier promenade is bordered by dazzling floral displays and the turquoise and gold domed bandstand looks striking against the seascape.
The Royal Horticultural Society’s Chelsea Flower Show is well known as the world’s most famous floral spectacle. For more than 80 years this celebrated show has blossomed in the centre of London. A floral feast for the senses, this show brings you innovation and creativity from leading garden designers and nurseries. We also feature historic Windsor and a visit to Oxford.
This new tour is simply packed with wonderful attractions from start to finish. The highlight is a visit to Sandringham House, the much-loved country retreat of Her Majesty The Queen and the private home of four generations of British monarchs since 1862.
