The popular seaside town of Looe can keep visitors entertained all year round whilst still retaining its character as a bustling working fishing port. The harbour, steeped in history, is a must visit, you can watch the boats come and go throughout the day and if you are an early riser you can watch the day’s catch being auctioned on the quay.


Your Itinerary

Saturday 2nd: We travel via the motorways and into Devon and Cornwall arriving in Looe for check-in at the Portbyhan Hotel. On arrival you will be greeted by the hotel staff dressed for Christmas with tea/coffee and mince pies. Meet in the bar for a festive punch reception followed by dinner and festive quiz and bingo.

Sunday 3rd: Today we travel to Plymouth. Plymouth city centre is a modern, pedestrianised area where visitors can spend their time shopping without the need for transport. Offering shoppers a little bit of everything from boutique treats to the big high street and designer brands. Plymouth Hoe is the natural heart of Plymouth with
breathtaking views across Plymouth Sound, one of the most perfect natural harbours in the world. Dinner this evening is a full traditional Christmas dinner, crackers and hats and a visit from Santa. Live entertainment will follow.

Monday 4th: Today is free to take a stroll around this lovely fishing village. At our hotel this afternoon will be quizzes and games. This evening dinner is followed by live entertainment.

Tuesday 5th: A tour to the pretty village of Mevagissey. Carrying on to Charlestown, with its original quay, used in films and TV series, including The Onedin Line, Poldark and the Eagle Has Landed. Dress up in your finery for the New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner with bucks fizz toast and party poppers and live entertainment. Fancy Dress is optional 

Wednesday 6th: We depart our hotel after breakfast and return home.
