Think of Austria and it's a tussle for the iconic image that will pop into your head first: Julie Andrews spinning on a mountain top, Vienna's imperial dazzle, the snowy peaks of the Alps... This former heart of the Austro-Hungarian empire sits at the base of the Alps and the crossroads of central Europe - and if the ambience here is more nostalgia than innovation, and more poise than pizzazz, then it's easy to understand why. European high culture was dominated by Austria for centuries during the reign of the Hapsburg dynasty. This is the land of Mozart and Strauss, Freud and Klimt, of grand palaces, onion-bulb churches and beautiful Baroque and Art Nouveau buildings. These days, old and new combine in a seamless experience for visitors, transport links are superb and tourist infrastructure is frighteningly well organised, ensuring you won't miss any of the experiences Austria has to offer.
Eastbourne is one of Britain’s more elegant resorts with its wide spacious promenade, many gardens and squares and the rolling grasslands ascending to the high perpendicular cliffs of Beachy Head. A Pier and a fine shopping centre are other features of the resort. Eastbourne also offers a variety of entertainment. The distinctive three-tier promenade is bordered by dazzling floral displays and the turquoise and gold domed bandstand looks striking against the seascape.
Elegantly rolling across six counties, the glorious, golden Cotswolds are full of picturesque villages, chocolate box cottages, beautiful honey-coloured buildings and tearooms aplenty. Our new packaged Itinerary takes in some of the most beautiful villages and includes a journey on a steam train.
Little villages, lush green meadows, rich farmlands and sandy heathlands depicted by the famous painters Constable and Gainsborough. We visit historic Bury St Edmunds, with its Dickens connections, and the delightful East Anglian countryside and peaceful coastline. All this combines to give a holiday of particular charm and nostalgia.
Our tour will include two unique and world class attractions around the city of Falkirk. Enjoy a boat trip on the world’s only rotating boat lift, the Falkirk Wheel, followed by a visit to The Kelpies, a colossal monument to the horse powered heritage of the region.

Our tour is based in Worthing, the largest all year round resort in West Sussex with a stunning setting between five miles of coastline and the beautiful South Down National Park. Included are visits to Borde Hill Garden and Nymans Estate.
